    Dr. Veronika Dolar is an economist with a diverse and exciting academic and life journey, which is reflected in
    her teaching and research interests. Originally from Slovenia, Dr. Dolar received her Bachelor of Arts from the
    Western University in Canada, and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Pace University is her current
    academic home, where she imparts her knowledge and passion for economics to her students, and pursues her
    diverse research interests.

    Her teaching record encompasses a wide array of courses ranging from Introductory Micro- and Macroeconomics,
    to Health, Labor, and Public Economics, as well as Economics of Gender, Race and Class. Through her
    dedicated mentorship and passion for teaching, she leaves a lasting impact on her students, inspiring them to explore the depths of economics and its real-world applications.

    Dr. Dolar’s publication history includes contributions to numerous peer-reviewed journals. Her work in the areas of Health Economics,
    which emphasizes eating decisions and nutrition, and Labor Economics, particularly concerning the minimum wage, has earned her accolades from her peers.

    She also demonstrates her commitment to making economics accessible to a broader audience through articles, published nationally
    and internationally, that have been translated into various languages, and through frequent contributions to Open Educational Resources.
    Dr. Dolar is a vocal advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Drawing from her personal experiences as an immigrant and a woman
    with disabilities, she actively contributes to advocacy through her research, professional activities, and mentorship of students from diverse backgrounds.
